Seeking Head Coach
Mooroolbark Bowls Club, one of the largest clubs in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne is seeking candidates to apply for the role of Head Coach/Players Mentor for the 2023-24 season. Due to a change in circumstances our current coach is unable to continue in this position.
Currently we have 7 Saturday Pennant sides (Divisions 2, 3, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) our aim is to achieve promotion to Division 1. Tuesday Pennant has 7 sides (Divisions 2, 2, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5).
The Club has two excellent, highly rated tift dwarf greens & one synthetic green.
Applicants will have played at Division 1 level or above, previous coaching experience and accreditation is preferred but not essential if we find the right candidate.
Role requirements:
- Ability to communicate and coach at all levels
- Develop and implement a coaching program for the Club and co-ordinate with club coaches to deliver the program
- Implement a measurable player performance system with achievable objectives and set standards for improvement
Remuneration, including bonus incentives are negotiable with previous experience taken into consideration.
