2023 Junior Provincial
WHAT A DAY!
The U18 Junior Provincial event brought together 10 different regions from all over the state. The juniors, their squads, coaches, family and friends gathered in Daylesford for the annual and much loved round robin tournament.
It was fantastic to see Murray Mallee and the Gippsland Geckos entering the tournament for the first time, with the newly formed team and players demonstrating high quality bowls to match their peers.
With Northern Flyers and Bendigo Dragons winning their respective sections, it was inevitable the Grand Final would be played to a very high standard. This was reflected in the final score, with Bendigo getting up 14 to 12 shots after a 6-end final per rink.
The Bendigo Dragons claimed their 6th trophy, after a long 7 years since their last victory. Go Dragons!
