Colac Integrated Triples Winners Crowned
The annual Integrated Triples has been run and won under the new dome at Colac Bowling Club. A relief for all participants as summer finally arrived and the new roof provided welcome shelter on the warm day.
Travelling considerable distances, 12 teams competed for the Integrated Triples title, with some really high quality bowls played on a very enjoyable day.
The Integrated Triples title was claimed by the team of Steve Nelson, Ken Hanson & Geoff Nelson.
Runners Up were Trevor Nelson, Ben Peachey & Dylan Nelson.
A particular achievement for Dylan Nelson, who entered his first competitive game since being classified and managed to secure second place with his Team.
Organisers would like to thank the Colac Bowling Club, the female club members for the delicious catering, Beth Nelson for her assistance throughout, and Umpire Graham Burrell. In addition, thanks also to the sponsors and supporters; West Coast Bowls, Bunnings Colac, and Reece Plumbing Colac.
Special thank you to all the family, carers, and supporters who attended with participants; these events are not possible without this tremendous support.
