2022 U18 State Teams Named
We’re pleased to announce the 7 boys and 6 girls who have been selected in the U18 State Teams. The successful bowlers will represent the BIG V in the first test series, lining up again Tasmania at Club Sunbury from 4 – 6 July, 2022. Our VICS will be under the guidance of coach Matt Flapper, and will be looking for back to back titles against our Tassie rivals.
We take this opportunity to congratulate those who have been selected, some for the first time, others returning, and we also recognise the contribution of those who are now no longer eligible to play in juniors. It’s very encouraging to see the progression of some of the more experienced young bowlers continuing their strong work ethic, with many now getting the opportunity to trial for the open State sides, as seen during the recent City v Country series.
Club Sunbury, our junior State side sponsor, is pleased to be hosting this first test series of 2022, and welcomes the bowling community to the club to support our junior bowlers and enjoy their fabulous venue.
