Metro Pennant Update Season 2021-22

by Team BV

With the past few weeks leading to some uncertainty around season commencement and what that might look like, we’re pleased to today release the revised Metro Pennant schedule and draws. Based on the current State Government roadmaps, we’re expecting that from 26th October, all clubs currently in lockdown areas will be able to commence pennant practice in-house, with increased density limits and further restrictions easing for community sport.

Dates and draws have changed, so please ensure you check these updated draws. Should there be any further delays or implications affecting community sport, we’ll be ready to go with our Plan C, D or E, and this will be communicated to clubs at the relevant time. We’re committed to delivering a full season of pennant for the 21/22 season.

With so much to look forward to, and now just a bit more certainty around when the action can commence, now’s the time to start planning for your full return to the greens, to make the most of the few weeks that will be available to train before we kick off the season. Fingers crossed the State remains on track with the Government roadmaps, and that these will be the last revisions to draws that we’ll need to publish.
