Join our team – Country Manager

by Team BV

As recently announced, Bowls Victoria is excited to be launching a pilot program designed to assist with the management and growth of bowls in Regional Victoria.

Applications are now open for the position of Country Manager – North West Victoria.

The pilot, to be undertaken over the next 24 months in the Murray Mallee and Wimmera Regions, is the latest initiative of Bowls Victoria designed to assist volunteers.

“Our volunteers do a terrific job under what have been very trying circumstances over the past 18 months, so giving them more support is what we want to do” said Bowls Victoria CEO Tony Sherwill.

The much-needed support will assist parts of Regional Victoria with all administrative tasks such as running competitions, liaising with government, seeking sponsors and communicating with members.

“We’re thrilled to be able to work with the Murray Mallee and Wimmera Boards, they’ve shown great leadership for their clubs”.

“All Regions have volunteers that work tirelessly for the sport, so this pilot will assist them, and more importantly assist Regional Victoria, the heartland of bowls in our State” said Sherwill.

The pilot is fully funded by Bowls Victoria and recruitment for the position will commence shortly in what is viewed as a big win for both Regions.
