Playing Coach
The St Leonards Bowling Club is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the 2021/22 season from an experienced and (or) accredited playing coach.
The coach must have played at least Division 1 standard and have the motivation to play, coach, optimise member playing skills and enjoyment. To be successful in this role you will also demonstrate strong communication, leadership, people and planning skills.
The Club has approximately 170 members and fields 4 Saturday Pennant Teams (Division 1, 2, 7, 8) and 4 sides in Midweek Pennant (Division 1, 4, 6, 7) in the Geelong Bowls Region.
The Coach will assist in recruitment, goal setting and work closely with the Board of Management, Bowls and Selection Committees.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Implementing and managing a coaching strategy. consistent with Club expectations.
- Conduct coaching on allocated training days.
- Provide both group / team and individual coaching.
- Play and be a role model in the Division 1 side.
Remuneration will be discussed during negotiations.
