BV & Make It Cheaper partner to reduce Victorian club’s energy bills

by Team BV

Bowls Victoria is pleased to announce a new partnership with Make it Cheaper, to help clubs reduce energy costs. Under the agreement clubs will receive an obligation-free review of their energy bills and contract together with details of alternative money-saving energy offers, where available.

Mark Pollard , Partnerships Manager from Make it Cheaper said “We’ve worked with bowling clubs across Australia to identify hundreds of thousands of dollars of energy bill savings over the years. Wholesale energy rates in Victoria have almost halved in the past four years, so it’s a good time to shop around for a better offer”.

Make it Cheaper’s energy experts continually monitor the market to find great offers, and they take care of the paperwork and retailer notifications to make switching simple. Clubs that move from current contracts into the cheaper price cycle can make substantial savings, and a number of plans now offset carbon emissions from energy usage for no extra cost.

Bowls Victoria General Manger – Commercial Operations, Andrew Haug said ‘the partnership will offer a significant time saving opportunity for all clubs to re-assess their current energy bills with existing providers and potentially reduce thousands of dollars from club operating expenses each year’.

Bowls Victoria and Make it Cheaper collectively look forward to a successful partnership over the years ahead, as we work together to help clubs better manage their operating costs and boost their balance sheets.
