Vale Valmai Lewis
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Bowls Victoria and Victorian Ladies Bowls Association (VLBA) Life Member Valmai Lewis.
Mrs Lewis was heavily involved with the VLBA as past Councillor and President, invaluably progressing women’s bowls before retiring during the early 2000’s. The Valmai Lewis Shield, fought for annually during the Women’s Victorian vs Tasmanian Interstate Test Series was named in her honour in recognition of her outstanding achievements on and off the green.
Our thoughts are with her family at this time.
