Two Great Positions
Bowls Operations Manager
The Karingal Bowling Club is seeking the services of an experienced Bowls Operations Manager to spearhead its drive into the next 50 years of its history.
Our club participates in the Mornington Peninsula pennant competition, fielding five teams in the Saturday competition and five in midweek, plus a broad range of local, regional, state and national events. In the not-too-distant future the club will offer all-year-round play with the completion of our state-of-the-art undercover facility.
We are also upgrading our food and beverage services within the premises. This commercial venture demands business and marketing acumen in delivering the club’s plans for market attraction and bowls sports presence within the local community.
The club is seeking a passionate, hands-on professional to fulfil the role of Bowls Coordinator. This full-time salaried position will report directly to the Board of Management.
We have deliberately not outlined the skills and knowledge, etc, required to secure this position. The person we seek knows exactly what is needed and will have researched the qualifications necessary to fulfil the role.
We are also seeking the services of an experienced Club Coach to mould our young and young-at-heart playing group into successful combinations in the Mornington Peninsula Pennant Saturday and midweek pennant competitions.
The successful applicant will:
Have Bowls Australia NCAS Accreditation Minimum Level 2 coaching credentials; experience at playing high level bowls; above average planning and people skills.
Be prepared to work with both experienced and novice bowlers, our proposed junior academy and newcomers.
- Hours and remuneration for both positions are negotiable.
Applications close Thursday 30 April 2020 at 5pm.
