New positions
Bowls Victoria is excited to announce new employment vacancies in the BV team:
These vacancies have occurred due to the resignation of Bronwyn Slatter (former Communications and Marketing Manager) in October 2019 and Wes Fawaz (Strategic Business Analyst) in September 2019. The Communications and Marketing Manager is charged with marketing the sport and communications to both new and existing bowlers. The GM Commercial Operations will enable Bowls Victoria to source alternative revenue streams, decreasing the reliance on affiliation fees.
The long break between filling these vacancies was due to an independent review of the structure of Bowls Victoria, undertaken by the highly-respected McLaughlin Sports Consultancy. The McLaughlin review assessed whether the structure of Bowls Victoria was the best option to achieve the goals set out in the BV Strategic Plan.
As a result, and along with the two aforementioned vacancies, there have been some changes to the organisational structure, chiefly the change in two positions, the Participation Manager and the IT Systems Administrator, to the appointment of two new positions:
The GM Bowls Operations will focus on the streams of Participation, High Performance, Coaching, Umpiring and Education. The Club Education and Training Manager will provide additional support to clubs on a number of fronts such as BowlsLink, Governance, Club Support, Member Protection, Coaching, Umpiring etc.

Candidates who meet the criteria are encouraged to apply, bowls knowledge will be held in very high regard.
