Wrap Up: 2019 Australian Under-18 Championships

by Darci Tierney

The 2019 Australian Under-18 Championships were held at Bendigo Bowls Club this October.

Playing on home soil, Victoria was eager to keep their standing at the top of the table. Unfortunately this time around Queensland were too strong, securing all three trophies after a brilliant display of bowls.

This year we sent five Victorian girls and boys to Bendigo as well as an additional seven girls, making up an emerging Victorian team, WA/Victorian team and Composite (NT) team.

Well done to all the young Victorians and Congratulations to the Bendigo Bowls Club for their amazing efforts in hosting a National tournament.
