The League Launches
History was made with the first ever U18 Junior League competition taking place at Fitzroy Victoria Bowling and Sports Club this past Sunday.
Junior League is a new Sunday morning interclub Two Bowl Triples competition that runs across the Melbourne Metropolitan region for Bowls Victoria under-18 junior bowlers.
There are 10 teams in the 2019 league representing 7 different bowls clubs – Moonee Valley, Richmond Union, Mulgrave Country Club, Fitzroy Victoria, Hawthorn, Elwood and Berwick. Bowls Victoria welcomes and encourages spectators to get down to Fitzroy over the next few months to support the league and juniors competing.
