Six Victorians nominated for Bowls Australia’s 2019 Awards Night
All eyes will be on Victoria at Bowls Australia’s 2019 Awards Night with six Victorians nominated for an award at the annual industry night of nights.
Shortlisted across several categories the winners will be announced at the Mantra on View on the Gold Coast on October 30.
Victoria’s shortlisted nominees include:
Barrie Lester
International Male Bowler of the Year.
Matt Flapper
Coach of the Year.
Josh Barry
Bowler with a Disability of the Year.
Jarryd Davies
Under-18 Male Bowler of the Year.
Neil Smillie
Official of the Year.
Rhonda Edwards, Werribee Bowls Club
Volunteer of the Year.
The night will also see several members of Australian bowls royalty inducted into the Hall of Fame, and others to be elevated to Legend status.
