Entries open for the 2019 Victorian Open
The Victorian Open will return to Shepparton in 2019 for another great week of bowls and entertainment.
Entries for this year’s tournament are now open and Bowls Victoria is looking to expand registrations this year to over 2,000 entries.
This year’s tournament will be contested from November 15-22 at various clubs throughout Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley region, with Shepparton Park Bowls Club the venue for the finals.
Open to both men and women, the Victorian Open provides a unique opportunity for bowlers at all playing levels to challenge themselves and their fellow competitors in a professional playing environment across Singles, Pairs, Triples and Mixed Pairs events.
There is no pre-qualification and the event is open to bowlers from anywhere around the world. It is also a Bowls Australia ranked event.
As well as the seven titles up for grabs, the Vic Medal will be awarded to the best-performing bowler of the tournament who accumulates the most points across the event’s four disciplines.
Live-streaming will be available for the finals on the last two days of competition and will be available on the Bowls Victoria Facebook page and website.
The event website www.vicopen.com.au is the central point for all player and event information. We ask players to ensure they take a moment to review this website now and during the event for the most up-to-date information.
