Club Grants Now Available

There are some great opportunities to apply for club funding, with a number of club grants now open.

VicHealth’s Active Club Grants

The next round of the VicHealth Active Club Grants are now open, with $500,000 up for grabs for community sporting clubs.

VicHealth’s Active Club Grants make an important contribution to Victorian communities by supporting local sporting clubs to provide more opportunities for less active Victorians to participate in sport, while also providing State Sport Associations, Regional Sports Assemblies, and Local Councils with the opportunity to support their clubs to generate growth in participation.

Grants of up to $3,000 or up to $10,000 are available for community sport clubs. Building on the success of the This Girl Can campaign, we’re encouraging community sports clubs to offer new programs, teams and activities for women and girls.

VicHealth is also looking to support social and modified sporting opportunities for people of all ages, genders, backgrounds and abilities to enable more Victorians from disadvantaged communities to take part in sport.

Further to this,  grants now offer clubs funding to support venue hire, deliverer fees and changes to the environment that will make your club environment more welcoming to women and girls. These are three areas that are crucial to setting up a new initiative and providing a positive experience.
