Changes to BV’s Under-18 program
This month, Bowls Victoria announced changes to the way the Under-18 program will be managed going forward. These changes were necessary to ensure that the best possible performance environment is offered to our current and future representative players.
As such the management of this team will, for the foreseeable future, sit internally with Bowls Victoria and no longer be overseen by the Under-18 Committee.
Matt Flapper, widely regarded as being one of the best coaches in the country, will remain as our Under-18 State Coach. We will also ask volunteers to assist as required at events, competitions and training sessions.
Bowls Victoria greatly acknowledges the dedication of all volunteers who have contributed to and supported the Under-18 team over the years. Thank you to all those who have been instrumental in the development of our junior bowlers.
