12 Vics make their way to the Australian Indoor Championships
The Men’s and Women’s Indoor Singles Qualifying has wrapped up with 12 players progressing to nationals later in the year.
Brighton Bowls Club, Deer Park Bowls Club and the Dandenong Club hosted have hosted events over the last two weekends.
In the women’s section, Brooke Edwards (Altona), Gayle Edwards (Altona), Carla Krizanic (Sunbury) and Trish Cullinane (Heathmont) all qualified.
The men’s saw Rob Briglia (Middle Park), Barrie Lester (Melbourne), Max Goldsmith (Melbourne), Kevin Murphy (Pakenham), Dane McKinnon (Altona), Jay Bye-Norris (Essendon), Leigh Doensen (Altona) and David Wells (City Memorial Warrnambool) secure their ticket to New South Wales.
Qualifiers will now head to Tweed Heads Bowls Club for the Australian Indoor Championships from August 26-29.
