New membership database nearing launch

by admin

The new national whole of sport membership database platform, BowlsLink, will soon be deployed across all Victorian bowls clubs.

To ensure that every member transferred to the new database has an Active member status, all Clubs need to review their database for accuracy by close of business on Monday 13, May.

If you have members with an Active status, but you don’t want these transferred to the new system, please make sure that their membership status is made Inactive.

Any members that require their information updated, such as phone number, date of birth, email etc. please update this information.

Bowls Victoria will be extracting member data from the current SportsTG database to the new BowlsLink database at 9:00AM on May 14, 2019. Post this transfer, the SportsTG database will become obsolete.

Clubs are encouraged NOT to make any further changes such as member addition and/or record updating after this time, as these updates will not be reflected in the new database and Clubs will be required to update this information again.

In the coming weeks, Bowls Victoria will announce a statewide training schedule on the BowlsLink membership database.
