Day 1 Wrap: Champion of State Pennant (Midweek)
Champion of State Pennant (Midweek) got underway today at Moama Bowls Club with 12 teams rolling up to start the three-day event.
Section A saw City of Frankston (Peninsula Casey) defeat Shepparton Golf (Central Goulburn Murray) 45-35, Yarrawonga MGCR (Ovens & Murray) won their match over Warrnambool City Memorial (West Coast) 53-28, and Buninyong (Central Victoria) won their game against Korong Vale (Wimmera) 64 to 31.
In Section B, Bendigo East (Bendigo Campaspe) defeated Leongatha (Strzelecki) 47-35, Lakes Entrance (Gippsland) lost to Altona (Metro) 54-32, and Swan Hill Racecourse (Murray Mallee) also lost their game to City of Geelong (Geelong) 42-34.
Day two will commence at 9:00AM Wednesday, with trial ends commencing at 8:45AM.
