Day 2 Wrap: Champion of State Pennant (Saturday)
Sunny conditions greeted players on day two of Champion of State Pennant (Saturday) at Moama Bowls Club with rounds two, three and four all contested today.
Saturday morning saw the following games take place in Section A.
Essendon (Metro) defeated Frankston ( Peninsula Casey) 47 to 27, Shepparton Golf (Central Goulburn Murray) had a win over Kerang (Murray Mallee) 46 to 41, and Traralgon (Strzelecki) won their match over Wodonga (Ovens & Murray) 53 to 34
In Section B, Bendigo East (Bendigo Campaspe) won their game over West Sale (Gippsland) 56 to 31, Ocean Grove (Geelong) defeated Stawell (Wimmera) 57 to 26, and Ballarat Memorial (Central Victoria) won over Portland RSL (West Coast) 41 to 34.
Round three saw Shepparton Golf (Central Goulburn Murray) win their match over Wodonga (Ovens & Murray) 50 to 41, Essendon (Metro) defeated Traralgon (Strzelecki) 48 to 27, and Kerang (Murray Mallee) took the points over Frankston ( Peninsula Casey) 44 to 43.
Stawell (Wimmera) defeated West Sale (Gippsland) 42 to 35, Bendigo East (Bendigo Campaspe) won their round against Ballarat Memorial (Central Victoria) 55 to 17, and Ocean Grove (Geelong) also won their match over Portland RSL (West Coast) 37 to 39.
In the last round for the day, round four, saw Essendon (Metro) win over Kerang (Murray Mallee) 52 to 34, Shepparton Golf (Central Goulburn Murray) defeated Traralgon (Strzelecki) 42 to 30 and City of Frankston (Peninsula Casey) won their match over Wodonga (Ovens & Murray) 36 to 37
Bendigo East (Bendigo Campaspe) defeated Portland RSL (West Coast) 70 to 25, Ocean Grove (Geelong) won their game over West Sale (Gippsland) 66 to 27, and Ballarat Memorial (Central Victoria) also won over Stawell (Wimmera) 54 to 32.

Sunday will see the last of the sectional play (round 5) wrap up with the final match set to commence at 1:00 PM. The 2019 Champion of State Pennant (Saturday) at Moama Bowling Club will run from May 3-5. Champion of State Pennant (Midweek) will commence on May 7.
