Day 1 Wrap: Men’s Region Sides
Traralgon turned on the charm for day one of the Men’s Region Sides as more than 200 bowlers descended on Traralgon Bowls Club for the commencement of this year’s championship.
Councillor Dan Clancy from Latrobe City Council officially opened the event, together with delegates from the Traralgon Bowls Club and staff, Board Members and Committee Members representing Bowls Victoria.
Round one commenced Friday afternoon with Section A wins to Northern Gateway, Wimmera, Sandbelt and Ovens and Murray. While in Section B Metro West, Geelong, Bendigo Campaspe and Yarra secured the three points.
Saturday will see round two commence at 8:30 AM, with rounds three, four and five all scheduled to all be played.

The 2019 Men’s Region Sides will be contested from April 5-7 and is proudly supported by Steller, the Latrobe City Council and Traralgon Bowls Club.
