Victorian squad announced for South Australia test

by Sean O'Kane

Victoria will meet South Australia in Moama this month for the last test match for the 2018-19 season.

With team selections announced today, Victoria will head to the Riverina with a strong contingent to light up Moama Bowling Club from February 20 – 22.

Victoria will be looking to savour the moments of their last clash with their southern neighbour as they enter the week hoping to retain both trophies for a second time.

The two sides last met at Salisbury in South Australia with Victoria taking top honours after both squads secured victories; the men 3-1 and the women 5-0.

Victoria will be looking to bounce back after their last test against New South Wales at The Entrance, which saw New South Wales dominate.

Moama Bowling Club has been a long-time supporter of the Victorian state team, with the facility one of the team’s major sponsors.

In a coup for fans, the test will be Live Streamed online from 1pm on Wednesday, February 20. Further information about where you can watch play live will be provided shortly, together with a schedule of play.
