Dandenong Club is nearing completion of an undercover, all weather lawn bowls facility that includes the development of extensive entertainment facilities. We intend opening the facility for various casual bowls experiences that include barefoot bowls, corporate bowls, bowls parties and Jack Attack Competitions.
The Club is seeking to employ Casual Bowls Hosts. The role includes setting up our greens, introducing the game to new bowlers, organising groups and helping to ensure that their visit to the Dandenong Club is a memorable one.
The successful applicant/s will be part of a team of casual workers and included in a roster that includes but is not limited to, Fridays from 4.00pm until 8.30pm, Saturdays after 6.00pm and Sundays from 1.30 until 5.30pm.
The Bowls Hosts will be Bowls Victoria, registered club bowlers, capable of teaching and demonstrating the basics of how to bowl. Formal bowls coaching credentials are not a pre-requisite for the position. It does however require a good organiser, endeared with an engaging nature, willing to commit to making every bowls event a fun experience.
