Entries open for Bendigo Bank Country Week
Bendigo Bank Country Week will be held from Monday18 March to Thursday 21 March 2019.
This will be the 49th staging of this event and as always is expected to attract participants from throughout Victoria, as well as a number of interstate bowlers. Bendigo Bank Country Week will be held from Monday18 March to Thursday 21 March 2019.
This will be the 49th staging of this event and as always is expected to attract participants from throughout Victoria, as well as a number of interstate bowlers. Entries are open to all male bowlers living more than 15 km from Bendigo.
Based at Bendigo Bowls Club, the week will also utilise the wonderful greens of 11 Bendigo district clubs. Around 800 bowlers are expected to take part in the Pairs and Fours events.
The Bendigo Bank Pairs event will be played on Monday and Tuesday with the finals being contested on both Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Sectional play for the Bendigo Bank Fours will be played on Wednesday and Thursday with the finals being decided at Bendigo Bowls Club on Thursday evening.
Each year the week continues to be a great gathering of bowlers seeking the ultimate titles but also sees everybody having a fantastic time both on and off the greens.
