RCH Foundation & Bowling with Babies

by Team BV

Bowls Victoria are pleased to announce that the highly successful Bowling with Babies program that started this year in partnership with Vic Health will now also support the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The Bowling with Babies program has run at 18 clubs across Victoria and has seen nearly 400 mums take part since starting in November 2017. The program hasn’t even stopped for the winter with sessions running indoor at Darebin City, Deer Park and Highton.

Bowling with Babies provides a safe, comfortable environment for new mums to get out of the house, meet other mums, enjoy a gentle game of bowls and coffee. The family friendly environment of bowls clubs is a perfect location for a non-competitive physical activity specifically designed to fit the needs of new mums.

Bowls Victoria recognizes all the amazing mums and babies we have had involved in the program so far and are delighted to join a passionate community of fundraisers dedicated to supporting the hospital.

Through the support of people attending programs such as Bowling with Babies, the hospital can continue to provide great care through life saving research and technology, outstanding medical talent and the best patient and family centred care.

The RCH Foundation has been supporting medical excellence at the hospital for over 26 years. In their work they value integrity, humility, gratitude, compassion, respect, loyalty and delivering on their commitments.
