Come and join Sorrento Bowls Club’s Junior Squad
Sorrento Bowls Club has introduced a junior squad coaching program and local primary school children (Year 5 and 6) are invited to join in and enjoy the fast-growing sport of bowls.
Free one hour coaching sessions have been scheduled after school on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3.45pm and welcome to come to Sunday mornings for a practise from 10.30am to 11.30am.
Two experienced members, Paul Fitzjohn and Doreen Winnett have offered their time and expertise to mentor and coach younger bowlers with an opportunity to join social games on Saturdays and other events such as twilight bowls over summer with parents and grandparents joining in the fun.
Coaching is available now and will continue through to mid July and continue in September with a wide range of events in the new season.
