Helping make your greens better

Greenkeepers, volunteers, greens directors and bowlers are invited to attend a Bowling Green seminar on the care and maintenance of natural grass and synthetic playing surfaces.
Topics include:
* Grass types, fertilising, pests and diseases.
* Irrigation and mower sharpening and maintenance.
* How to achieve a quality fast surface.
* Grass renovation and synthetic care.
The seminar will be held at Mooroolbark Bowls Club, 170 Hull Road, Mooroolbark, on Thursday, November 16, 2017.
Start time is 9.30am 
Cost is $65. Lunch included.
The seminar will be hosted by Doug Agnew from Agturf, who teaches turf management at Melbourne Polytechnic TAFE College.
Guest speakers will include Mark Burchell and Steven Tuckett from Melbourne Polytechnic Sports Turf Department. 
If this turns out to be popular, a regular education seminar may be run by Melbourne Polytechnic Sports Turf department in the future.
