Bowls Victoria Executive Assistant Karen Gilmartin has been the heart, soul, smiling face, and the first point of contact at Victorian bowls’ governing body for the past 12 years.
At the end of July, Karen – or Gilly as she’s known to her colleagues – retired from her role at Bowls Victoria, with a well-deserved European vacation on the agenda for later this year as she settles into retirement.
At the old RVBA and its successor Bowls Victoria, Karen has been the right-hand woman for three Chief Executives.
A friend to so many in Victorian bowls, loved and treasured by her workmates and those who’ve worked closely with her, Karen has left an indelible mark on Bowls Victoria during her many years of distinguished service.
On behalf of everyone in Victorian bowls, we wish Gilly all the best in retirement, and an unforgettable vacation to come.
