Fast Track is back!

by Team BV

Fast Track is a female leadership program aimed at empowering women on and off the green and it’s back again in 2017!
Fast Track, which last ran in 2014, focuses on the different roles women can take on within the sport, how to prepare and perform at a high level, communication & leadership skills and on-green tactics and strategies.
“Fast Track helped me improve and expand my knowledge in the sport, gain confidence and explore other opportunities the sport has to offer” says former participant Carol Protopapas.
The program will run out of two of Victoria’s premier Regional venues throughout August at Sebastopol BC and Morwell BC and feature high profile guest’s coaches each week. Previous guests have included Australian representatives and a number of Victoria’s finest coaches and players.
Following on from Fast Track in 2014, Carol pursued her interest in coaching and undertook a Club Coach course. She has now gone on to become the Victorian State Coach for Bowlers with a Physical Disability.
“Fast Track is for women who are keen to gain knowledge from experienced coaches, to help them find confidence and satisfaction!”
“I got exactly what I was looking for; experienced bowlers sharing their knowledge on the game, and meeting other women of various ages as keen as me looking for pathways to improve!”
Places at each event are strictly limited to 30 people.
Fast Track targets women aged 30 plus who are looking to develop themselves as leaders within the sport of bowls. You don’t have to be a top ranked bowler to participate; the program is designed to empower women interested in taking on a bigger role within the sport.
