2017 Doug Kneebone Tournament
Central Highlands Rangers have won the inaugural Doug Kneebone Junior Development Squad Tournament held at Melbourne Bowling Club.
The team of Mikayla Long (Sunbury), Lachie Morison (Melbourne BC), Lisa Trewarne (Sunbury) and Ben Ryan (Moonee Valley) won the fours tournament, defeating Western Warriors in the final.
The tournament is named in honour of Doug Kneebone, the driving force behind Victoria’s successful Under 18 development program for many years until his retirement in 2016.
