Day 2 – State Champions Week
Day 2 of State Champions Week was delayed by heavy rain and waterlogged greens. Play eventually got underway in women’s and men’s fours, and we got in two and a half hours’ play.
But play was eventually abandoned at 3.30pm after more heavy rain flooded the greens at Bendigo East Bowling Club.
Matches will resume at 8am Saturday – Day 3 of State Champions Week.
Bowls Victoria appreciates the patience of players, and especially the amazing efforts of the greens staff and volunteers at Bendigo East BC to give us any play at all.
