10-a-side Fun Day
It’s a day of dressing up to a theme, great food, bowls and fellowship.
The Ballarat District Bowls Association held their annual 10 a-side Fun day at the Central Wendouree Bowling Club.
Teams are made up of 10 players and they nominate a Singles player, fours, triples and pairs.
A tournament draw is done and at the end of the day prizes are awarded for best team, AM & PM winners of each category and the overall aggregate.
A best dressed Team is also recognized.
The brainchild of BDBD Board member Kay Geddes, this is the fourth year that this tournament has been conducted. This year there were 120 players participating and all indicated that they wish this day to continue.
