Words that are synonymous with the highest levels of lawn bowls and are embodied by the 2017 Richmond Union Victorian Masters Singles tournament.
Back after a brief hiatus, Richmond Union Bowling Club once again plays host to one of the most prestigious singles tournaments in Victoria, if not Australia.
Its previous winners list is littered with some of the most recognisable names in bowling history, with each winner counting themselves blessed to be recognised in such company.
One thing that Richmond Union prides itself on is aiming to be on the forefront of the modern bowling experience, and the changes to this year’s Masters only enhance that image.
A new play spectator friendly schedule as well as the dynamic tournament operation that has become a model for other major tournaments will be complimented perfectly by the delicious food, perfectly chilled beverages and warm friendly volunteers. This is definitely a tournament to be experienced, as a spectator as well as a player.
The week long tournament starts on Monday. March 27 and includes five days of sectional play, followed by two exciting days of knockout play on the weekend culminating in what is sure to be a spectacular final in the afternoon of Sunday, April 2.
Spectators are most welcome to come down, meet the players and enjoy some great Richmond hospitality.
