VicHealth Active Club Grants now open
Is your club considering introducing a Jack Attack program?
You might be eligible for funding for the equipment via Bowls Victoria’s partner VicHealth through their latest round of Active Club Grants.
The latest round of VicHealth’s Active Club Grants is now open.
The grants will be funding social or modified sport programs like Jack Attack, plus programs for women and girls.
This is a brilliant opportunity to either get more people involved in fun, flexible or less structured activities like Jack Attack, or to boost female participation in your club.
Grants of $3,000 and $10,000 are available.
VicHealth has recommended the Jack Attack program as a perfect initiative to encourage more people to be active in bowls.
Clubs may be eligible to access funds to assist with the start-up costs for the Jack Attack, and run it to complement and follow up their Play Bowls Month activities, another program supported by VicHealth.
Clubs can also access funds to purchase equipment such as small sized bowls, or Junior Jack Attack kits.
This round of Active Club Grants closes on March 10, 2017. Successful applicants will be notified by May 2017, with funding to commence from June 2017.
