Vic v SA U18 Test – Day 2
Victoria has won the girls’ series, and South Australia the boys in the 2017 version of their annual Under 18 Test showdown.
Victoria secured an unassailable 2-0 series lead on day two of the series at Sunbury Bowling Club. While the teams were tied at two matches all, Victoria were 12 shots up to take out the Test and three-Test series.
A big Victorian win in the girls’ fours 25-6 helped greatly with the home state’s shots advantage.
In the boys, Victoria went down 3-1 in the second Test after losing the opening Test on Day 1.
Victoria’s solitary win was in the fours – a 17-10 win.
The third Tests will be played at Sunbury BC on Thursday, January 12.
