Sorrento Community Barefoot Bowls Carnival
Barefoot Bowling is one of the fastest growing sporting and recreational activities in Victoria – so Sorrento Bowls Club on the Mornington Peninsula is celebrating Australia Day with a community barefoot bowls carnival.
It is an official Mornington Peninsula Shire Council event, and will be held on Thursday January 26 from 10am to 4pm.
Free entry includes loan bowls & sausage sizzle.
At 10.30am, the official flag raising will be conducted by Australia Day Ambassador and world aerobics champion Sue Stanley.
There’ll be special children’s activities – egg & spoon races, colouring contests and play dough fun.
Club bar and refreshments will be available all day, with super raffle prizes, and a bargain books and crafts sale.
Families, friends and visitors are all welcome.
