Taylor Bowls Premier Division returns
Taylor Bowls has renewed its partnership with Bowls Victoria, and will sponsor both Saturday and midweek Metropolitan Pennant Premier Divisions.
Taylor Bowls has been a long-time sponsor of Metro Pennant’s Premier Divisions.
The competitions will be known as the Taylor Bowls Premier Division throughout the 2016-17 season.
As part of its sponsorship, the company will also provide a set of bowls to each of the 10 clubs playing in Taylor Bowls Saturday Premier Division, and to each of the 10 clubs in Taylor Bowls Midweek Premier Division.
Taylor Bowls spokesman Adam Hateley says the company, which brings over 200 years’ experience in innovation and development within our sport, is proud to be associated with Victorian bowls and its Metropolitan Pennant competitions again.
“We’re happy to be involved again and pleased to support the sport in Victoria,” Mr Hateley said.
“Taylor Bowls has a long history and long-standing involvement with Metro Pennant that we’re very pleased to be continuing.”
Bowls Victoria Chief Executive Graeme Bridge says Taylor Bowls has been a great partner for Victorian bowls over a long period of time, supporting a number of Bowls Victoria initiatives.
“We value Taylor Bowls’ contribution to the game in Victoria over a significant number of years and in particular their support of Clubs who are the direct beneficiaries of this sponsorship package.
“We welcome their decision to continue their long-running association with Victorian bowls through Metropolitan Pennant’s top divisions.”
Taylor Bowls Midweek Premier Division and the rest of the Midweek Metropolitan Pennant competition kicked off on Tuesday, September 27.
The Taylor Bowls Saturday Premier Division starts along with Saturday Metro Pennant on October 8.
