Victorian finalists aplenty at national awards
Four Victorians and a Victorian club are among the finalists for the 2016 Bowls Australia awards.

Brodie, 17, won two Australian Open titles and three Victorian championships in a stellar 2015-16 season.
In the BWD race, she’ll take on fellow Victorian Josh Barry, whose two gold medals at the World Cerebral Palsy Games in Nottingham were among his highlights.
Victoria’s Josh Thornton is a finalist in the Regional Bowls Manager of the Year award, while leading Victorian technical official John Roberts is a finalist in the Official of the Year award – an award he won previously in 2014.
And Torquay Bowls Club has been nominated for Club of the Year.
The 2016 Bowls Australia Awards Night will be held on Thursday, October 27 at Mantra Legends, Surfers Paradise from 6pm.
