Interest high in 2016 Victorian Open
More than 100 entries have been received in the first two weeks for the 2016 Victorian Open in Shepparton in November.
Entries for the November 5 to 11 event opened on July 22, and already interest has been high.
Last year the Vic Open attracted 1,248 entries for all events, and more than 2,100 individual participants – smashing all previous records.
The event at 18 clubs around Greater Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley from November 5 to 11 features men’s and women’s singles, pairs and triples, and mixed pairs, with big prizemoney spread across those events.
There is also the Vic Medal for the best-performed bowler at the tournament.
To increase your chances of winning the Vic Medal, enter all four events.
The Victorian Open is open to all affiliated bowlers from anywhere in the world, and requires no pre-qualification.
It is a Bowls Australia-ranked event, with ranking points available for each discipline.
