Five new Victorians in NTC Squad
Five Victorians have been added to Bowls Australia’s high-performance feeder program for the 2016-17 season.
Victorian Open men’s singles champion Nathan Wilson (Essendon) and State representative Liam Garlick-Adams (Altona), along with Melbourne BC rising stars Curtis Hanley, Todd Trewarne and Kristen Steele will be part of the National Training Centre squads for the upcoming season.
They are among 13 Victorians named in the NTC squad announced by Victoria/Tasmania NTC coach Mark Cowan on behalf of Bowls Australia.
Fifty-three players have been named in the overall NTC squad, with NSW/ACT to announce their NTC players in January to further bolster the roster of talent in the second-tier feeder program to the national squad.
