MOVE with Bowls Club of the Month – June
Two big congratulations go out to the St Kilda Bowling Club.
Firstly, for your outstanding fundraising for the MOVE with Bowls program which has led to the club being awarded Club of the Month for June.
Also, congratulations to St Kilda bowler Sara Rodger who has been selected to represent Victoria in the Australian Indoor Championships. Sara will play in Tweed Heads in August at the Nationals.
The St Kilda Bowling Club was formed in 1865 and is the second oldest existing bowls club in Australia. As well as bowling, the Club shares its Fitzroy Street home with a variety of other sporting activities such as petanque, cricket and darts.
An oasis in the heart of St Kilda on an acre of grounds adjoining Albert Park, the Club Bar and Lounge always welcomes members, their guests and visitors.
Whether you would like to play barefoot bowls, join one of their sport sections or simply just meet new people, St Kilda Bowling Club is the place to be!
