Lester, Wilson, Krizanic take on the Worlds

Three Victorians have been named in the 10-strong Australian team for the World Bowls Championships in New Zealand in November-December 2016.
Barrie Lester (Mulgrave CC), Aaron Wilson (Clayton) and Carla Krizanic (Sunbury) will take part in the sport’s most prestigious event.
All have been selected in the Jackaroos side for the event in Christchurch from November 29 to December 11.
Lester will lead in the men’s triples and fours, Wilson will play pairs and fours, while Krizanic has been selected as lead in the women’s triples and fours outfits.
Australian team 
Women:
Singles – Karen Murphy (41, Cabramatta, NSW)
Pairs – Kelsey Cottrell (26, St Johns Park, NSW) & Karen Murphy
Triples – Carla Krizanic (26, Sunbury, VIC), Natasha Scott (25, Raymond Terrace, NSW) & Rebecca Van Asch (28, Invermay, TAS)
Fours – Carla Krizanic, Rebecca Van Asch, Natasha Scott & Kelsey Cottrell
