Crime prevention grants for your club
Could your bowls club do with funding to implement crime prevention solutions?
Local community groups are invited to apply for grants of up to $10,000 to implement locally based crime prevention solutions through the Department of Justice and Regulation’s Community Safety Fund Grants.
Eligible projects can include:
· Improving security in community facilities, with funding for security equipment such as locks, vandal proof security lighting, security screens, alarms (without video surveillance), fencing and gates.
· Activities engaging the community in small scale improvements to make public spaces safer, such as work to improve streetscapes, parks and reserves.
· Education and awareness initiatives targeting common crimes, such as theft of and from motor vehicles, theft of personal property in public places, residential burglary and retail burglary.

Applications close at 4pm on Friday, July 1, 2016. Late applications cannot be submitted.
