Our officials the best of the best
Having 12 International Technical Officials among 24 umpires and markers shows that the players weren’t the only champions at 2016 State Champions Week.
Officiating is an integral part of any successful tournament, and gathered at Bendigo East Bowling Club were the best of the best in the sport.
For the first time all markers used were nationally accredited which has been an aim of the State Umpiring Committee over the past year.
Bowls Victoria encourages all players to consider undertaking a National markers, measurers or umpires course.
Both the markers and measurers courses are independent components. Please contact your local District umpires chair to find out when they are running their next courses.
