About us
The Ivanhoe Bowling Club is seeking expressions of interested for the position of Head Coach for the 2016/17 season and beyond.
We have a proud history dating back to 1913. Located 10 km north-east of the Melbourne CBD, we have over 100 active bowling members across five Saturday and three Midweek Pennant teams.
We are excited about our future for our Saturday and Tuesday Pennant sides. In 2016/17 we plan to field sides in Division 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7 in the Saturday pennant competition and sides in Division 1, 2 and 5 in the midweek competition.
About the role
As the Head Coach, you will drive a culture of success and teamwork by leading a team of volunteer coaches and working with the Bowls Director to develop and implement a winning game plan and training sessions to maximise our chance of success on the green.
The Head Coach will also play for Ivanhoe in Saturday Pennant.
About you
We are ideally looking for a current high-level player who is looking to build on or kick start their coaching career.
You will be someone with a passion for playing and teaching the game of bowls to help us grow our membership base and develop the skills of our existing members.
You will have a positive and contemporary outlook on the game of bowls and associated coaching principles, with the ability to motivate bowlers at all levels, in both one-on-one and group coaching sessions.
You will be a current Bowls Australia accredited coach. Advanced coaching accreditation would be highly regarded.
Remuneration
Remuneration is negotiable and based on experience.
