Victorian men make it four from four

by Team BV

Victoria’s men have taken control of the 2016 Australian Sides Championships at Queanbeyan, beating defending champions NSW in an epic to remain unbeaten after four matches.
The Vics stunned NSW, who beat them comfortably in a Test series in January, 61-58 in a match which swung heavily on Victorian Aaron Wilson’s 10-shot victory over Aron Sherriff’s rink.
It followed victory over hosts ACT in their day two morning match, and wins over Queensland and South Australia on day one.
Victoria’s women lost their first match of the tournament, going down to NSW 63-58 in a see-sawing contest after beating the ACT convincingly in the morning session.
But they remain top of the ladder.
