State star Wilson shaves for good cause

Aaron Wilson may find it a little colder than normal in the ACT for the Australian Sides Championships from March 31 to April 3.
The Victorian team member, along with a group of brave bowlers from Leopold Sportsmans Club, helped raise more than $4,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation by shaving their heads, and in some cases beards and ponytails, as part of the World’s Greatest Shave.
Leopold’s Ebony Gordon, Jane McMenaman, Barry Smallman, Ben Russell and Terry Halliday also took part, and the results can be seen in the picture gallery below.
The fund-raising day included bowlers taking part in Jack Attack, and a barbecue lunch and raffle.
