Bowls has two nominees at Victorian Sports Awards
Bowls Victoria would like to congratulate the sport’s nominees at the 2015 Victorian Sports Awards ceremony held in March, 2016 at the MCG.
Leading umpire Bob Carlson was short-listed as a finalist for the Victorian Official of the Year award, which was eventually won by tennis umpire Thomas Sweeney.
And the Armed Vics – Victoria’s Bowlers Arm representative team which has won three successive national championships – were among the Victorian Team of the Year nominees.
Netball’s Victorian Fury won that award.
