Trials for 2016 Multi-Bowl Nationals

by Team BV

The Multi-Bowl is on again!
The National Championships for bowlers with a physical disability will be held from Sunday, May 22 to Friday, May 27 at Clearview Bowling Club in Adelaide.

Bowls Victoria invite bowlers who identify as having a physical disability to trial at the upcoming state trials.
The team will consist of 10 players, with up to six men and four women chosen to compete at the national championships. Victoria is currently low on female representatives and hope to enter a full complement at the upcoming Nationals.

Pairs and triples teams will be picked on team unity and compatibility, personal performance at trials or in previous events** as well as their leadership capabilities.
The team chosen will be working closely together over many days and it’s expected we will have a team that is unified and supportive of each other.
** Previous events is where players have succeeded and proven their ability to be selected in the team without trialling for selection. Events that this can happen with is the Victorian Multi Disability Championships as well as other recognised National or State events.
